I have one of the authors other books and it changed my life. I was curious to see what their fiction would be like and I was happily surprised.
I liked the story, the characters, and the ending. It was exciting and more enjoyable than almost any book I've read in a long while. I would have given it a five-star rating except I thought (from the title) that it would be a historical novel - not a conspiracy thriller. I wasn't disappointed, just surprised that it takes place in present day with flash backs to the 13th apostle. Still, it was quite enjoyable and beautifully written.
