The history and gradual unfolding of Adam's story was superb. It gave wonderful perspective with the shift from a solely "wolf" centered offering. Adam comes off as not only gorgeous but perceptive and funny as well. Cindy in this one did not annoy me - she's not a character I'd grown to love in the other books but here she is definitely one to appreciate.
A lot happens in Red Rock Pass this go around - many changes. You really feel the evolution from the first book and get a great sense of time and how it passes for those whose lives are much longer than humans. The characters are top notch and the action is expertly done.
