Nutz was a British hard/classic rock band formed in Liverpool in 1972. Originally called Harpoon, the band changed its name at the suggestion of A&M with whom it was to record four albums during that decade:'Nutz', 'Nutz Too', 'Hard Nutz', 'Live Cutz'.
In 1981, the band changed its name to Rage (not to be confused with German band, Rage, emerging around this time) and went onto record a further three rock/metal albums for the Carrere label until it folded upon the death of drummer John Mylett in a road accident on the island of Ibiza in 1984.
Nutz re-formed in 2010 with drummer Paul Ryan added to the line-up upon the release of live album 'Tightened Up!' by the Market Square label.(Wikipedia)
