The mathematical work of Chuquet is in particular the object of an excellent Itard's article - see http://gigapedia.com/items/436661.
It is almost exclusively known from a 1484 manuscript belonging to the BNF, which contains four Chuquet's works designated here by: "Le Triparty de Nicolas" (http://gigapedia.com/items/440538) followed as a kind of appendix by "Problemes et applications" (http://gigapedia.com/items/440543), "Geometrie" and "Arithmetique commerciale".
Here we deal with the "Geometrie" edited quite recently by l'Huillier (1979).
l'Huillier has given a quasi-verbatim typographied version of the Geometrie. So it is written in old french (more precisely "middle french", very understandable by french speaking people since l'Huillier added a little glossary), but the common "medieval" abbreviations are happily all resolved.
