Merit is a kick a** character, from book one she was different then her genre, different then her kind, and amazing. I love her, I understood her choices, and sympathized with her, I understood her choice in the last book about Ethan. Now a couple months later Ethan is being threatened, not by guns and knives, but by the mayor who will arrest him for all the vampire Raves that's happening in the city, and by the European council who is debating on whether Ethan is fit to rule a house or not. Merit has to dig deep, call on contacts better left alone, and save Ethan's standing and the victims of the Raves. Meanwhile we get to see more of the secondary characters that make this series so interesting, Mallory, Catcher, Lindsey, etc. They don't disappoint. New enemies, new victims, and new friends are also introduced.
So, if you can handle waiting until November for the next release (thank god it's not a full year) read it, you will only be disappointed a little. If you have read the spoilers and know what's going to happen at the end, I suggest holding off until Drink Deep comes out, like I said above I trust Chloe to make this right. Enjoy!
