I'm not surprised at the number of negative reviews here. This book requires patience, but if you stay with it, I think you'll be rewarded.The chapters are quite short and Kava switches you from one character to another, each with his or her own agenda and story, but they are all interconnected.Sabrina Galloway, a brilliant scientist at EchoEnergy, a company that's developing an alternate fuel, is the central character. Other important characters include the company's owner, a senator's adviser, a terrorist, a hit man, Sabrina's brother, and a black woman with a Washington boss who's not identified until near the end.The brevity of the chapters give this a breakneck pace, but, judging from the negative reviews, can confuse many readers. If you stick with this, you'll meet several indelible characters including Leon who you might find yourself reluctantly liking.
