By the end of chapter 9, I'm laughing so much that I'm in danger of waking everyone in the house at 2:30am. I'm not sure a severely religious person might agree but, for me, the book is really funny. The idea that Connor, a rough old warrior vampire with Old World sensibilities, would have to be attracted to an actual Angel of Death that was punished for being merciful by being stuck in a woman's body brings forth some very amusing situations. For instance, he has to teach her how to use a toilet...among other things..... My advice: Just enjoy the read!
