BERC has releasesd Rubicon , the sixth full-length album by the Norwegian gothic metal band Tristania.
It is the first album to feature Mariangela Demurtas on female vocals, Kjetil Nordhus on clean vocals, Gyri Smordal Losnegaard on guitars, Ole Vistnes on bass (and backing vocals) and Tarald Lie Jr. on drums. It s also the first time that the harsh vocals are totally performed by Anders Hoyvik Hidle. It is also the return of Pete Johansen on violins after almost ten years of not performing on a Tristania album. Osten Bergoy appears again as a session member, as he s been out of the band all of 2009, since he s become a father and was taking care of his babies. Nevertheless he took some time off of his fatherhood to perform some session vocals on Rubicon.
