- Not much background was given about the "witches," it never really picked up until halfway through the books, not to mention I never really saw them as "witches," it was more of a mind control thing rather than casting spells on other characters.
+ I could see this becoming book-to-television.
- It reminded me of Twilight (such as Bella being possessive over Edward) because Raine was incredibly obsessed and possessive over Cam and he wasn't even her boyfriend. That was annoying and was a gripe of mine throughout the books.
+ Overall, I enjoyed it.
