This book is a fine log of some of the more intricate details of the castle building in Wales under Edward I, and is supplemented with a few nice plates. It's worth it, but I find it lacking in what I hoped for- I've been trying desperately to find information on James of Savoy and the military design of the castles. However, I am not dissapointed with what I got. Enjoy it, if you like castles enough to enjoy them.
