I have to agree with the other reviewers who mention the heroine's weak and somewhat spineless character, but, in her defense, there was the excuse that her mother was dead and father had neglected her for his sexy new wife & left the heroine to grow up alone. She had devoted herself to her work, so that when the opportunity for love presented itself, she just didn't know how to deal with it. That seemed "real" enough. I did like the author's depiction of Draco, and the way he treated Cressy when they first made love, in Greece, was perfect.
