Although those who love Georgette Heyer and other earlier Regency writers may be put off by some graphic sex scenes in a few of the stories, this is an excellent Regency collection of short stories with few caveats, especially for the busy reader. Most of the stories are very short, and are true enough to the period to avoid those nasty shocks back to the real world when anachronisms enter too strongly. They range from the very simple, standard story lines to the more complex and original, but there is something here for everybody. If you object to the sex, you can skip it - just read "I Love You" multiple times until you're past it, because some writers seem to equate the acts and the words. Ah, youth!
