When i first started reading it I thought it was a bit sluggish, I got a little bored. But, after a bit, I was ensnared! I love the politics, the social battles, and of course the mismatched love of Di and Henry, Will and Elizabeth, and the unrequited love of Penelope and Lina. Some criticize these characters, calling them stereotypical and boring, but I loved them. Di was definitely my favorite, with Penelope and Lina second. I guessed from the beginning what really happened to Elizabeth, and I guess some of the plot is a little predictable. But I loved the author's descriptions and wordings!
Great book, worth the read,
4/5 because of a slightly slow beginning and some predictability.
