This is my first Blunt book and it won't be my last. I enjoyed this police procedural laid in the northern Ontario town of Algonquin Bay. Blunt has crafted a story that fits together like a jig-saw puzzle. He lets the story develop methodically...slowly.. so that you can savor it. As other reviewers here have noted, the plot is predictable but that doesn't detract from the book's enjoyment. You kinda know how it's going to end but your attention turns to how is the author going to get us there. This is a fast read you'll finish it in a day or two and when you do, or should I say "By the Time You Read This..." you will be glad you did.
