This book was much, much better than the previous 'The Darkest Lie.' I was interested to see how she did this round when I wasn't blown away with her last novel. GENA ABSOLUTELY NAILED IT! She did fantastic. The main romance couple was firmly in the limelight but she still kept you interested in what else she has in store. She pulled in all our prior favorites and I definitely noticed more of a familial connection between all the Lords that made me happy for every single couple I've already read about.
Without giving too much away, it was interesting to see how polar opposites certainly do attract, and that prejudices and paradigms we think are the justifications for our actions sometimes....really and truely aren't what we thought they were.
Definitely a must read!
