I looked up reviews for this books when it came up as a recommendation and they looked promising. This was in fact a great read, I'm a big fan of crime thrillers, the grittier, the better and this was certainly gritty. I liked the lead characters, Detectives Hunter and Garcia. There is also some great one-liners to lighten the mood. The story is basically about a killer Hunter thought he'd already caught and was executed for his brutal crimes, but when a body turns up murdered in the most horrific way, Hunter soon realises the wrong man may have been executed and the Crucifix Killer has just resumed his killing spree. Great read, great writer, look forward to the next one from
