This story was good and well written but I really didn't feel the chemistry between Al and Adda like I wanted to. Also since her children were in Texas, I really wondered how this couple would coexisit as a family once the boys came into the picture. I would have preferred for her not to have children at all because they were not with her in the story and really served to add more complication to the HEA. The discription of post Katrina rebuilding was a bit depressing. The author repeatedly wrote about how Adda didn't want to talk about what happened during Katrina. It became redundent. Al and Adda's relationship reminded me of Halle and Billy Bob's in "Monsters Ball". I really wanted to understand it but perhaps I need to have emotions verbalized more to truly get it.
