THATS ENTERTAINMENT! THE ULTIMATE ANTHOLOGY OF M-G-M MUSICALS includes movie musical performances originally compiled for the films THAT'S ENTERTAINMENT! (1974), THAT'S ENTERTAINMENT, PART 2 (1976) and THAT'S ENTERTAINMENT! III (1994). The first four discs of the set include performances featured in the first two films, in their original, full-length versions instead of the edited versions used in the films. Disc 5 is identical to the 1994 soundtrack of THAT'S ENTERTAINMENT! III, which is available separately on CD and cassette on Angel [2435 55215]. Disc 6 adds additional selections from each of the three films, along with several performances from movie musicals not used in any of the films. Many of the tracks on disc 6 are previously unreleased in audio form.
