This story was written with a sure style that was fascinating to read. The one thing I really enjoy about A.J. Menden's books are her imagination and the ability to switch gears midway through the story surprising this reader with twists that kept me guessing even as I rooted for the heroine. I also admire her ability to bring the reader deep into the relationship between the 2 main characters so you feel invested in their love for one another.
Overall, this book was a fun, light read that I read in one sitting. I especially enjoyed the interactions between all of the heroic team and wonder what the author has up her sleeve for future installments.
