This is the first book written by Joan Johnston that I have read. I just picked the book up for something to read.
I did enjoy the book, it was well entertaining. There was just a few things that bothered me and one was the way the author always referred to Eden as Miss Devlin, her name (Eden) was hardley used and that was a little annoying. Also they always called Burke Kerrigan "Kerrigan". I kept forgetting his name, I would have to turn the book over to the back cover to see what his name was. And the last thing was the romance between Bliss and Hadley. I my head when reading the book I pictured two very young like 13 year old kids.
But in all the book was good and kept my interest, but at this time I don't know if I will try another of her books again for a while.
The romance is like they always are with the happy ending.
