This novella is based on a short story written for a Gross Out Competition. The author had taken the original story and expanded it, and the novella is as demented and twisted as the short story it is based.
Because the plot involves a fetus who refuses to leave his mother's womb no matter what she tries to do to stop him, so you know this is going to be a sick read. The characters are all bizarre, with odd defects, disorders, missing body parts; everyone is a scumbag; there is a lot of twisted sex, and an amazing ending. I'd love to see an illustrated version of this book.
highly enjoyable, I tore through it in two sittings.
