I love this series because the author is so clever and her characters are so likeable. Opal always seems to find herself in the thick of trouble but with luck and a lot of tenacity pulls herself through. Her friends are hilarious to read and have a camaraderie that makes you wish you were part of the adventure, too! There is always some interesting twist that keeps me on my toes and I was really sad that Opal's adventures have concluded. I hope that the author continues another series in this world (Please!)
If you love fantasy (similar to the Hobbit), deep and engaging characters, and lots of surprises then you must give this author a try.
