This was a hugely entertaining book, particularly when it came to the quick-paced dialogue between the two main characters (Layney Logan and Foster). Layney is not only forced to be co-editor of the school newspaper, but she has to do it with her arch nemesis Foster. On top of it, the school newspaper is on shaky ground given budget cuts. And, oh yeah, she used to date Foster back in Middle School. I loved the creative and hilarious situations that the author sets-up for Layney and Foster along with the built-up tension. I only wish that the ending didn't seem so abrupt, as I wanted a little bit more near the end given the build-up. However, I would definitely recommend this book!
