This book is clearly written by someone who understands sales. Not just academic - but real-world sales. It can really be used as a checklist of do's and don'ts. Buy yourself a couple of sticky-note-pads because you'll want to keep this on your desk for fast reference. It's a road-map really, of what to do and what not to do. This book is at the top of the Smart Selling Tool's recommended reading list.

Great job Josiane! How refreshing to read a sales book that is not focused on sales management or field sales but focused on the burgeoning field of professional Inside Sales! This book is a must have for every cubicle warrior.
Josiane spreads her gospel in a way that inside sales professionals can absorb and implement. She uses language that communicates, messages that resonate and a process that can actually be implemented immediately. This is a handbook of best practices and should sit on every desk.
PS - The Tele-Smart 10 would be a great foundation for 10 team meetings! See...yet another reason to buy this book.

It has become hands down the definitive source for my team, and I highly recommend it to sales professionals and managers I know who are looking to sharpen key sales skills in quick, digestible bites. Josiane has mastered the concept of providing easy to read and easy to understand information in 10 simple step-by-step concepts. The format allows sales professionals to quickly reference examples and tactics from any stage of the sales process, from introducing to closing to partnering... and much more.

Telesales departments have a difficult job in this economy but this book drills down to the key success metrics to allow your sales team to get the most for their efforts.
Of particular interest was the section on note-taking. We forget how important documentation can be follow-on call efforts until you read the author's key take-aways.
