I am elated to say I really loved SLIVER FROST, the third book of the frost series. I have to admit I was underwhelmed by the first two books, enjoying the characters, but feeling the overall writing lacked the maturity and depth to truly captivate me (to be fair, the target reader is quite a bit my junior). Not true with SILVER FROST!.. where in Gow does an excellent job enchanting the reader with a much more sophisticated touch. The story continues with a strong plot that picks up right where it left off in FOREVER FROST. I was delighted to find Logan (my favorite character) once more playing a stronger role in the the storyline. There is quite a bit of danger, tragic love, sacrifice, betrayal and deception in this installment; and I commend Gow on navigating the plot twist and turns in such a way that is not only believable in the context of this tale but also emotionally riveting...
