This is an amazing and important book, albeit technical - so not for most lay readers. I heartily recommend it to any scientist or any individual who might be willing to look up some scientific terminology with which he/she might not be familiar. The chapters are a series of studies completed over a period of several years by scientists (with terminal degrees for whomover might be impressed by such things) who wanted to examine evidences for an earth that might be around 6,000 years (+/-). In the end these scientists have built an incredible case for a young-earth by use of real research. These studies, when considered in conjunction with other evidences outside of this book, build what I consider irrefutable evidence that the earth is not millions of years old. There is a "light" version of this book that is available and is not so technical which I have also read. It is entitled "Thousands Not Billions." I've been reading on this topic for a number of years and have read books and scientific papers by Christians, IDers (Intelligent Design), Agnostics, Atheists and others and this is one of the best pieces of modern research that I have ever read on this topic. Their theory of accelerated nuclear decay is very interesting and may quite possibly be part of the answer to the question as to why radiometric dating methods yield such varying and inconsistent results.
