Grant goes back the next evening to see if Wallpenny will show up again. While he's waiting a man comes up to him and asks him what he's doing. He responds that he's waiting for a ghost. You meet people who are river gods, people with powers, wickedness and people fighting it. This is a tightly woven book with an involved story, one which keeps you reading. There's time travel, possession, all kinds of supernatural beings and events!
I liked it a lot.
