James was born in Toronto Canada where he first started playing guitar at age 12. He later moved to Dallas Texas where he studied Jazz and Classical guitar at The University of North Texas. His last CD Acoustically Speaking has been played on over 100 smooth jazz stations nationwide. The James Gabriano band has opened for several national artists such as Larry Carlton, Chuck Mangione, Gino Vanelli and Ottmar Liebert.
Riviera Sunrise: James proudly welcomes guest artists Wayman Tisdale, Steve Ferrone, Alex Acuna, Alex Al and Steve Reid in creating the rich, seductive rhythms permeating its varied selections.
