I had the opportunity of partnering with Jack Dennis, one of the most respected individuals of the fly fishing fraternity, to produce this video. Jack owns and operates a prominent fly fishing shop and guide service based out of Jackson Hole, Wyoming. He has produced many instructional fly fishing DVDs. In this 2-hour video, I tie 12 favorite stillwater trout patterns based on the Stillwater Solutions line of fly tying materials. The patterns include the Red Butt-Red Brown Chironomid Pupa, Baby Damselfly Nymph, Stillwater Caddis Emerger, and the Black and Red Sparkle Blend Leech. While tying, I cover material selection and tying tips, and explain how and why to fish the selected fly patterns.
