I also loved the significant time we got to spend with the rest of "the gang", seeing how they were embracing the next milestones in their own lives, as health issues plagued Erin and possibly her baby. Part of the reason I love reading series is to continue to spend time with previous characters I've grown to love. I think that Lauren does a very good, satisfying job of this - more so than some other authors who don't always fold older characters into the story as I'd like them too (this is my personal preference; I know not all agree).
There was true beauty in the relationship between Andrew and Ella - passion, tenderness, shared (and expanded) interests, humor, understanding, and above all, honesty. Even when it wasn't always easy or pretty.
Great addition to the series - and I can't wait for the next one!
