I was a little disappointed by this story,it was not what I expected. The beginning of the book was fast paced but the story started to slow by the middle. I thought that the conflict in the story could have been stronger. The villain stays in the background for too long. The hero and heroine were likeable as well as some of the secondary characters. I didn't think that this hero was as compelling as many of the heroes were in Amanda Ashley's other vampire romances. Even though I did not enjoy this book as much as I did other books by Amanda Ashley ,I am still looking forward to reading her next book. I recently ordered Everlasting Kiss her newest novel.
