Floating a mortar deck with cement can be a project that is daunting for most of us even pro’s can have their work cut out for them if they haven’t learned the proper way to do this. Paul and Jodi break this down for you and clearly demonstrate every step from sink cut outs, moisture protection, wire lathing, sink mortar bed re-enforcement, to actually floating a long lasting cement deck to apply the tile over. The tile is applied with trim made specifically for that purpose and a decorative backsplash is also installed.
