Brent Weeks is an American fantasy author currently living in and writing out of Oregon. Born in Montana, Brent became a teacher after graduating from Hillsdale College. With his desire to write, he left teaching after only a year and continued his calling.
His first book deal was with Orbit who published the Night Angel Trilogy, a series based on the upbringing of Azoth, ultimately a wetboy, in the land of Midcyru. The series has been such a success that has now seen its second printing.
Brent continues to write and is currently working on another magic-based series, separate from The Night Angel books.
