The characters are hardened from years of war with Skynet and it shows in their battles against the fierce T600s. Connor proves himself as a witty, passionate and tough leader and the way the humans have adapted to the environment is impressively written. There were plenty of times my heart begin pounding as I read through each chapter. A well written book that is just a few paragraphs short of being perfect. The beginning starts alittle too "comic bookish", which is something you do not want to read or see in a Terminator franchise. Otherwise I could not put this book down.
