Just came from L Image performance at Iridium Jazz Club in NYC.It was everything you would expect from a lineup of this calibre.Masterful.Thoughtful and well constructed compositions,with a classic but cool feel.Solo s range from moody to energetic,beautiful and always very tasteful.I will say this album is more subdued and laid back sounding than the energy of their live performance.Nonetheless,the music is brillantly written and brillantly played.Sit back,relax,and enjoy.
