I've really been enjoying this series, and was excited to read this one as it focuses on Aislinn and Seth again. I was a little bit disappointed with this one. There was a lot I liked, it was great to find out about the High Court, but I felt like I was reading about different characters than the ones I'd read before. I felt they weren't as well developed and described, were a bit one dimensional, and acted in ways I didn't expect them to. I thought Aislinn was confused, Seth was not the calm, solid person I had come to have a major literary crush on, Niall was a bit too nasty and the other fey were a bit flat.
Despite that I still enjoyed the story and I'll keep reading the series, I hope the next one is more like the first two in terms of it's characters.
