I plan on purchasing any new editions as they are published, as well. Summary: Family Medicine: Ambulatory Care and Prevention review Rating: 4 Lots of helpful information. However, I don't really cae for the format -have to search for treatments, especialy medications. Not that reader-friendly. Summary: Great book Rating: 4 I must say that it is one of the great books about family medicine, the only drawback is the text size. Summary: An Amazing "Fast Facts" Collection for Family Medicine Rating: 5 I've been looking for this kind of text for a while. Terse enough for board review, complete enough for reference and teaching (I am an adjunct faculty member of a family medicine residency program). I've recommended it without equivocation to all our residents. Summary: Ideal for the day-to-day family medicine (review and/or practice) Rating: 5 Of course there are other Family Medicine textbooks out there that can be useful, but this Family Medicine textbook includes a tremendous amount of clinical information handy for the daily review in rotations on this field. This book proof that not always the more expensive books are the best, this is an excellent and affordable book.
