I absolutely loved this book. I really enjoyed the first one, but this one was even better! The chemistry between Aeric and Emmaline is tense, electric, intense and forbidden. I like the turn of events. I like that the plots have several different factions attacking at once. It's Aeric and Emmaline against the world. The pace is perfect! I was sad when it was over. The story sucked me in from page one, couldn't put it down. I liked we learned more about how they got into Piefferburg, or maybe I just didn't remember it from the first, but it seemed like new information. I thought the romance in this one was way better than the first, not that the first was bad. I can't wait for the next one!
