What's sexier than a hot, younger man wanting to fulfill your every desire? How about two of them?! Lucky India Singer is faced with this "dilemma" in Conquering India. Wade Thompson and Marc Jacobs, owners of a security firm, have contracted with India's catering company to handle their first annual year-end party. But when they first meet her, they're both totally attracted to the sexy, curvaceous Ms. Singer. However, mixing business with pleasure in the small San Antonio business circle they are all a part of is a big no-no. Wade has decided that, no matter what it takes, India will be theirs. Marc wants India, but is more hesitant due to past heartbreak. He's just not sure that any woman will want to have an unconventional, three-way relationship on a long-term basis. And he definitely thinks they need to wait to make their move until the party is over, and they no longer have what would constitute a "business" relationship. Enter India's weasel of an ex-husband, Johnny. He's in trouble and needs money, and India is just the person to provide it as far as he's concerned. But when he gets violent, Marc and Wade are there to come to her rescue. However, India just can't seem to believe that two such gorgeous men want her. Can they convince her to give their relationship a chance? Conquering India definitely puts Melissa Schroeder on the menage "map" so to speak. It may be her first foray into this sub-genre, but its obvious she's talented and imaginative when it comes to writing an erotic romance involving three main characters, as well as stories with two main characters. And each one of these characters is very unique - India is smart and sassy, Wade is the hunky alpha with a sensitive side, and Marc is the one who is controlled on the surface, but get him riled and you better watch out! One of the great things about Conquering India is that Ms. Schroeder makes the fantasy believable. These characters are like real people, in every day situations, the difference being that they've chosen an alternative to the average 1 man/1 woman relationship. And, as usual, Ms. Schroeder has managed to write some fantastically erotic love scenes. All the elements of the story work together seamlessly, and I'm looking forward with great anticipation to the next novel in this series!!
