The first half of this book was fairly good, thus the three stars. But by the second half, when the development of the relationship had progressed very little, I started to lose interest. Gillian never seemed to change. I liked Ross, what I couldn't figure out is what he saw in Gillian! The author was never able to make her likable. She was just annoying! What started out to be good chemistry between the main characters quickly fell flat. All we got were several quik couplings, because they were so overcome by desire apparently they couldn't help themselves. But it never seemed to progress beyond that. I wasn't all that interested in the werewolf society, the murders were no mystery, as you know who the mastermind is the whole time. There was a couple of interesting (if a little disturbing) twists. All in all, not her best work by a long shot!
