There is something intriguing about the workings and life of a sniper and while this book concentrates less on that than the previous ones, it weaves a very believeable tale of international tension and intrigue which involves over time, Saudi Arabia, The United States, Russia and China to varying degrees as there is a plot afoot to take over Saudi Arabia and control of its vast oil fields and the plot, for a time is working really well. An old nemisis from the past returns in this book as an important cog in the plan to overthrow the House of Saud which adds an extra dimension to the story.
Vince Flynn fans would appreciate this book and I have noted previously that the Flynn character, Mitch Rapp could take some lessons from Kyle Swanson.
This is pretty much nonstop action and intrigue and if you let this one pass you by you will regret it!
