Craft and Recipe Excerpts from Best of Christmas Ideas Beaded Trees Shortbread Sticks Flames of Green Summary: Good book, passed it on. Rating: 4 Ok, I have to start off with the fact that I'm pretty good with crafts and making things out of virtually nothing. Just needed some inspiration for the upcoming holidays and I got plenty of time to do this kind of stuff. Anyway, this book is full of stuff you can make. They had a really pretty oranment in there but I didn't have all the stuff it needed so I improvised with some toe-nail clippings and paint chips I scraped off the bunk in my cell. Turned out nice. My gang affiliation doesn't allow me to mingle with Jews but I made a rockin' Menorah out of some parts I ripped out of one the washing machines and soap. I reproduced the "Rudolph and Santa's Sleigh" figurine out of a tray from the cafeteria, the elastic band from my underwear, and some mail my celly don't know he got. This book emphasizes the enjoyment that you can get from working with crafts and stuff. I nearly forget the terrible things I've done to deserve this miserable existence when I'm glueing macaroni to a paper plate. The guards enjoy my work as well. They confiscated several pieces I had made, including my favorite piece; a Frosty the Snowman made out of balled-up socks, various pebbles I'd collected, and one them bendy straws. Unfortunately they discovered that I had engineered it to fire a jet of urine through my cell bars at passerbys. But I still saw them displaying it at the guard station! Anyways, this is a good book if you have time to read it, when you're not with women, or driving big cars, or living it up not worrying about fighting or crying in your sleep.
