About the Author
James Huddleston has worked with computers since 1974, specializing in
database design and development since 1980. He has a bachelor's degree
in Latin and Greek from the University of Pennsylvania and a juris doctor degree from the University of Pittsburgh. A technical reviewer of dozens of computer books, including Beginning C# Objects: From Concepts to Code, he finds databases an endlessly fascinating area of work and almost as intellectually rewarding as his hobby: translating Homer's "Iliad" and "Odyssey" from the original Greek. Ranga Raghuram has a bachelor's degree in engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science in Pilani, India, and a master's degree from Virginia Tech in Virginia. Syed Fahad Gilani has more than 15 years of experience in computing. He sold his first program at the age of ten. Jacob Hammer Pedersen started programming in the early 1990s, moving
gradually from Pascal to C++ to Visual Basic. In the summer of 2000, he discovered C# and has explored it happily ever since. Jon Reid was editor for the C++ and Object Query Language components of the Object Data Management Group standard, and has co-authored several C# books.
