AnyLogic Professional v6.4.1 (Windows/Linux) | 278 MB
AnyLogic is the only tool that supports all the most common simulation methodologies in place today: System Dynamics, Process-centric (AKA Discrete Event), and Agent Based modeling. The unique flexibility of the modeling language enables the user to capture the complexity and heterogeneity of business, economic and social systems to any desired level of detail. AnyLogic’s graphical interface, tools, and library objects allows you to quickly model diverse areas such as manufacturing and logistics, business processes, human resources, consumer and/or patient behavior. The object-oriented model design paradigm supported by AnyLogic provides for modular, hierarchical, and incremental construction of large models.
AnyLogic is the choice of thousands users worldwide, hundreds of commercial and governmental organizations and hundreds of universities. AnyLogic user community is constantly growing both because of migration from other tools and because AnyLogic makes simulation modeling applicable in new areas. AnyLogic has become a corporate standard for simulation in many global companies.
AnyLogic 6 is based on the innovative Eclipse framework which has been adopted by leading companies as a business application platform. The Eclipse framework allows AnyLogic to run on all the popular OS’s (Windows, Mac, Linux, etc.) with the same native look and feel.
AnyLogic supports collaboration and teamwork. A large project may be partitioned into components that are developed by different modelers. The model can be opened simultaneously in AnyLogic workspace, and updated in the version control system directly from the model development environment.
The AnyLogic 6 simulation engine has been redesigned and significantly improved. The models now run 5-20 times faster than in version 5. The memory footprint of all model constructs has been drastically reduced, which is particularly important for agent based modeling. You can now run several million agents on a modern workstation. In other words you can simulate the complete population of a large city with every person having individual properties.
An interactive GUI with animation is an important part of AnyLogic. The animation editor is a part of model development environment. This editor supports a large variety of graphical shapes, and controls for interface design (sliders, buttons, text inputs, etc.), as well as importing images and CAD files as elements and backgrounds.
AnyLogic animation is scalable and hierarchical. You can create a global view of the manufacturing process with some aggregated indicators as well as detailed animations of particular operations, and freely switch between them.
AnyLogic includes a wide range of data analysis and business graphics objects such as bar charts, pie charts, stack charts, time plots, and histograms. These are designed to efficiently process and visualize dynamically changing data during the simulation run.
AnyLogic employs Java as its language for complex data structure definition, algorithms, and external connectivity. If needed, the modeler can extend the functionality of AnyLogic graphical constructs with pieces of Java code, which provides virtually unlimited flexibility. For the convenience of our users AnyLogic offers full Eclipse Java “code completion”. Wherever you are typing, AnyLogic suggests which variables or functions can be used in context which eliminates typos as well as the need to refer to other parts of the model or a Java reference.
Java makes AnyLogic models truly cross-platform. Moreover, they can even be published as applets and run remotely in a web browser (see examples). The models can be integrated into larger IT infrastructures, such as corporate Decision Support Systems.
Once a simulation model is complete, a modeler will typically use it to define and run Various experiments. AnyLogic supports many experiment types including: Simulation, Compare Runs, Parameter Variation, Monte Carlo Analysis, Sensitivity Analysis, and Optimization. You can combine these or create customized experiments. AnyLogic includes a fully-integrated latest release of the Java OptQuestв„ўoptimizer from OptTek, Inc. This is specifcally designed to work with simulation models and supports optimization under uncertainty. You can also use the optimizer to calibrate your model against historical data.
