Don't get me wrong. I love all of Lurlene McDaniel's books, but they're all just so sad. She's probably only written like 4 books where the main character or the main character's girlfriend or boyfriend doesn't die. It can get depressing. But the new Angels in Pink books aren't like that.
So there are 3 best friends who are all 16, Kathleen, Holly, and Raina. They decide to volunteer at a local hospital for the summer and become "pink angels". Kathleen is really happy when she meets Carson, the really hot guy who's also volunteering, but not by choice. They hit it off, but she worries about where they're going. Carson has this goargous friend, Stephanie, who keeps showing up. Kathleen feels really intimidated. Carson doesn't ever like cheat on her though. I love how he doesn't ever pressure her to go too far, and how he doesn't care that Kathleen's never had that much experience with guys. I want someone like Carson!!!!!!!!!! Waaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol
this book is sooooooooooo good! and the best part is, there's still 2 books in the series after this one.
