I love this book and the predecessor, "Mortal Coils." The characters are fun, the gods are made human (which is an nice touch) and the story is refreshingly different even while falling in the genre neatly.
My one complaint is, what did I spend $16 on this book for if the editors and copywriters are going to damage the authors fabulous writing with CONSTANT typo's, misspellings, and errors? I could see finding this plethora of mistakes in a cheap book but this is a $16 large paperback book, and should have been actually READ by the publishing company before being, you know, published. If I were Nylund, I would fire Tor and get a new publishing company. I am continually annoyed by sentences like "This wasn't like when he had Fiona had fought Beelzebub." "Canon" instead of "Cannon". And the like.
