The cargo ship Nostromo, in return trip to Earth, the satellite will land on an alien planet in response to a distress call. During the landing, the ship is damaged and unable to leave without the necessary repairs. The Dallas captain decides, given the situation, leaving the ship and get the source of transmission for which they had diverted their route. The same Dallas, Kane and his second start outside the navigator Lambert, protected by space suits, in search of the source signal. Soon after the astronauts finder of a wreck alien, crashed on the planet many years earlier. Inside the wreckage they discover an alien creature, now fossilized, and they come across on it a hole in his chest as if something had exploded inside. Immerse yourself in a cave, Kane discovers a sea of objects he called "eggs or something." As he approached one of the objects, is attacked by a strange creature which looked like a spider ...

L'astronave da trasporto Nostromo, in viaggio di ritorno verso la Terra, atterra sul satellite di un pianeta alieno in risposta a una chiamata di soccorso. Durante l'atterraggio, la nave rimane danneggiata e impossibilitata a ripartire senza le riparazioni necessarie. Il comandante Dallas decide, vista la situazione, di uscire dalla nave e raggiungere la fonte della trasmissione per la quale avevano deviato la loro rotta. Lo stesso Dallas, il suo secondo Kane e il navigatore Lambert si avviano all'esterno, protetti da tute spaziali, in cerca della fonte del segnale. Poco dopo, gli astronauti rinvengono un relitto alieno, precipitato sul pianeta molti anni prima. All'interno del relitto scoprono una creatura aliena, ormai fossilizzata, e rinvengono su di essa un buco nel torace come se qualcosa fosse esploso al suo interno. Addentratosi in una caverna, Kane scopre una distesa di oggetti da lui definiti "Uova o roba simile". Avvicinatosi a uno degli oggetti, viene attaccato da uno strano essere dalle sembianze di un ragno che...
