I would describe this short story as a young man's fantasy about what the earth might become if taken over by a benevolent super intelligence. Most of the technological/social changes garner just a sentence or two, with the most emphasis given to describing the young male protagonist's "liaison" with the A.I., who becomes his guide, helper, servant, and anatomically perfect sex partner. That said, the story is well written and sustained my interest, and I will continue to check out Mike Deering's other books.
