For instance, if you want to learn about Layers, simply turn to "L" in the book, find Layers, and read about every Layers feature and command. The book is not just a dry glossary of terms either as some may expect; for each item listed, there are full colour screen shots and examples of how to use the particular feature being discussed. The book has been fully updated for version 5 and there is a brand new section of step by steps at the beginning which cover 27 of the most popular techniques that users most often use. The book can be read from cover to cover or used as a quick reference when you want to find out about a particular feature. This is without doubt one of the most helpful books out there on Photoshop Elements and the only one that gives you an A-Z guide. For those who are new to the software it is a real godsend but there is even plenty in there for Photoshop Elements granddads. Highly recommended.
