I don't see how any reader can think this book is any less than great. Knowing how rough the Greek gods and other pantheons are portrayed in history; then Ash's story could be no less than horrible. And it was horrible. I had to put it down a couple of times because things became so creul for young Ash. It was a very difficult read and now I find myself totally hating Artemis. She was wrong all the way through, but being a goddess, I guess we should expect it.
This book was the best in the series.
